About Mo

Maurice "Mo" Evans (born November 8, 1978) represents one of basketball's most compelling comeback stories. Going undrafted in 2001, Evans refused to let that setback define him. Through relentless work ethic, defensive discipline, and sharpshooting, he carved out a nine-year NBA career that earned him the respect of teammates, coaches, and fans at every stop.

Evans's journey took him from Wichita State to the University of Texas before making his NBA debut with the Minnesota Timberwolves. He found his groove as a reliable wing player known for his ability to guard multiple positions and hit big three-pointers. The Atlanta Hawks recognized that value with a multi-year contract that cemented his place as a legitimate NBA contributor.

After retiring from playing in 2012, Mo Evans didn't step away from basketball — he stepped deeper into it. He became a certified NBA player agent and rose to Vice President of the NBA Players Association, where he worked to protect and advance the interests of current players. He now channels that advocacy experience into his role as Houston Chapter President of the NBRPA, and as an active member of the Membership Services Committee.

His company, ELOS360, reflects his entrepreneurial vision — 360-degree support for athletes navigating life before, during, and after their playing careers.
